Peppermint

My name is Peppermint. I know my name is a little odd. Here is why. My mother was called Oddfellow, and my brother was called Minty, so we have a family tradition. I was born in this area in 1996. My father is Vane, a stallion on the Hossack Station, so I am a local. I was trained locally by a lovely trainer, Colin, who comes to visit me. I have done trekking before in this area. I am very talented, beautiful, and graceful. Cathy has adopted me as her favorite, and I am her lead horse. Cathy and I got so attached that Kate gave me to Cathy for Christmas one year. Why not I said! I take some time out from the herd, so I can clear my head, and do a good job for Cathy. Each year I go with Cathy on a four day Natural Horsemanship Clinic with Ken Faulkner. Cathy and I have a full on learning experience together. I think I do her proud, and she is such a good partner to learn with. You know she really cares, and us horses don't care how much humans know until we know how much they care.
