  Stay at Mt. Lyford for a riding weekend. The maximum size of a group is 6. These events include accommodation in Pokaka, our beautiful secluded Log Home, or at the convivial Mt. Lyford Lodge right across the road from our Horse Trekking base.

• Clinics
  Clinics are offered several times during the year with Bryan McVicar and also with Ken Faulkner from Brisbane, Australia. Abi Ricketts runs a Natual Horsemanship Club throught the year.
  
  
• Luxury Horse Treks (2-5 days)
  Sherwood Lodge and Mt Lyford Horse Treks have combined to provide the ultimate in luxury horse trekking.  From one day to five days of trekking, you'll enjoy seeing some of the best high country in New Zealand, on the best horses, with fantastic guides, superb food, accommodation and service!  No matter what your experience level, an appropriate horse/pony and route direction will be available to ensure you have a wonderful trekking experience.
